Staffy bitch to good home
I am very upset, I have just seen an advert on Gumtree (or Scumtree) for a home for a girl Staffie, she has had pups 4 months ago and needs a home cos they haven't got time for her, yet they had time to let her have pups, nurture them and probably make the owners some cash. I am disgusted, some people are just shameless. They should be banned from keeping dogs forever!

I would love to get websites like that made illegal. I hate animal advertising on the internet. I might make a petition.

Yeah we should. Mind there are people who post on Gumtree warning about evil people wanting dogs for the wrong purpose. How can you do that to your dog though?

It's only by educating people on forums etc such as this that we have any chance of turning the tide

Have you tried to report the post on Gumtree.
Sorry but I have never looked at that place and wouldn't. If you want to do a petition the only way to get anywhere with it would be by doing it officially through the governments link as below:

Re: Staffy bitch to good home
The advert is now gone< hopefully they saw sense? How do you not have a lead for your dog? How do they take it for walks? My Princesses have lots of differerent leads< as I have tried a variety. Comfort myself that today my girls had a long, muddy walk through barley fields where they ran and rolled! Then they came home, had a bath ( cos they were stinky) Then they had their tea, Pero dog food mixed with chicken< chantenay carrots, then were kissed and cuddled and put in their new, soft beds x. That is how a pup/dog should live. FACT
