fish4dogs and sardines?
I finally got round to ordering some for Buster and it has now arrived. He had his first taste last night and seemed to love it, so I am now in the process of swapping him and LuLu onto it (life will be much easier with them both on the same food!). I have been mixing tinned sardines into his food a few times a week as his coat was very dull. Is it still ok to mix sardines in with fish4dogs? I have loads of tins in the cupboard and we dont really eat them, and he seems to enjoy it.

Re: fish4dogs and sardines?
I wouldn't think there was a problem.
Janey swears by fish4dogs & I think she adds some tinned fish sometimes.

You probably won't need the sardines now you've changed to Fish4Dogs but there's no harm in adding them as a treat if you want

Re: fish4dogs and sardines?
I decided on fish4dogs after seeing it mentioned on here a few times. It is cheaper than alot of the other foods mentioned (including JWB that he is on at the moment). I'm getting so fed up with LuLu eating Buster's food and vice versa, at least if they are on the same thing it wont matter! I know he probably wont need the sardines once he's on it properly, but he does like the treat so if there aren't any problems with it I will give him some for a treat thank you

Re: fish4dogs and sardines?
We are thinking of changing Rockys food at the moment. He seems to be fed up with JWB as he will now only eat the duck flavour one. He used to eat them all: Lamb, fish, turkey and the duck.
Just got to decide what to change it to.

Re: fish4dogs and sardines?
Buster was also on JWB and getting a bit bored. I have only been mixing it in since yesterday, but so far my two love it - they pick those bits out of their food first! And so does my youngest son who has a thing for dog food, still, at least he'll have a nice shiney coat

Re: fish4dogs and sardines?
When my daughter was about 4 she used to strip and get into our dogs crate under the stairs. Then shut the door behind herself.
Think if social services walked into our houses we would make the papers

Lewis also shuts himself in LuLu's crate whenever he gets chance. He was playing outside a few weeks ago and ended up sleeping in Buster's kennel, with Buster lay on a blanket just outside. And he has also tried to drink water from the dogs bowl once, but after dunking his head in he hasn't tried it since!
We have problems with Lewis eating so I'm not sure if I should take it personally when he wont eat food I cook for him, but eats the dogs food!

Hi
I'm not a fan of Pro Plan TBH, it doesn't have enough meat and too much grain IMO. Tuna shouldn't be given on a regular basis due to the risk of heavy metal toxicity although it's fine every now and then.
If your dog is overweight then my advice would be to find a food high in animal protein and low in grain/carbs. Carbs tend to be stored as fat in dogs and prevent the protein in the diet from being used as an energy source.
Could you afford something like Applaws?
Do you feed lots of treats?

Just ordered the same myself , 34.99 from Chemist direct , seems like the best option and bought some salmon oil for Tommy's food to see if we can get him to finish off his wainwrights as Im dead tight. At the moment the adult wainwrights run out so Tilly is on the puppy one as well (smaller portions) just to try and use it up but since they had their fish4dog samples neither is very interested in the wainwrights

Re: fish4dogs and sardines?

on amazon it's £42 and if you Subscribe to it it's only 37.57 with free delivery, I'm going see how they go on with it if it's ok i'm going to Subscribe for two 12kg bags every 2 months.

But if you buy 2 bagas at a time and the delivery is free from Chemist direct you will save a fiver, better in your pocket than someone elses

But they are massive and Janey uses them a lot and you can use Paypal, think you have to dip a toe in the water now and again, you can also phone them up and make your order if you don't want transactions over the internet.
When I've not received anything in 14 days time I will come back and delete the post
Actually I already had a despatch email off them 2 hours ago with a royal mail tracking link so I think they are pro

I do everything online these days , Internet banking, Credit cards, most of our shopping for Xmas and stuff, there are things in place for internet fraud so there's no point worrying about it all

website can sell your info to places like india or china, the internet is a very dodgy place without any proper control of anything..

If I use lesser known sites , I never spend large amounts of money and I always use paypal
