Hi all! Smile

Hope you and your doggies are all well Smile

Well we've had an interesting few days here!
Lola had a fight with a metal bench ( & lost). I threw the frisbee, the wind caught it and took it off towads some benches. Lola ran after it and bashed her head on the bench and cut just below her eye. She let out an almightly yelp as well!
It was checked over by the vet and its a superficial cut, no stitches can be put in.
While at the vets she had her free dental check (perfect set of nashers) & her ears checked (She didnt care much for it!).

So she was fine after the vets and all day and this afternoon when I got up, we ate and went for a walk and she limped the whole way out to the park (0.8miles). Its her back right leg/foot. I cant see anything stuck in her paw/pad, her thigh is a bit swollen. She cant sit properly and kind od sits sideways with her back legs in the air.
She also has been shaking lots.
She's got the vets again at 9.10am 15/07 (tomorow/today) to get checked over. I just dont know whats wrong Sad

Bless lol

I wouldn't panic too much, she probably just strained it or banged it on the bench. Staffs usually put up a fuss for a day but are totally fine the next day. I would only be really concerned if she wasn't weight baring at all.

If she will let you touch the area that is anthor good sign. They are constantly straining a muscle and not anything to be too concerned with. Do give it time to heal though so I would skip any rough play or high impact activity for a day or so after you think she is all better

She'll limp for a litle while then walk, the limp and then walk. Sometimes she wont put any weight on it.
She's fine with me touching it and having a little squeeze.

Try not to worry it doesn't sound serious and is very common. She just needs a bit of rest and slowly get back to normal. I always say to wait a day or two after you think they are alright to start getting back to normal because rushing things can turn a small issue into a reoccuring one or cause it to be bigger

Is it a follow up for a seperate reason? If not I would think about canceling but there is never any harm in being cautious if you think something is wrong. I
