2 staffie in the same house
hi all
i have a staffie snoop she is 3 1/2years old bitch she is great with ppl and other dogs when my partner has her out and great with my 4 kids all under 5 years old i got snoop 8week after i had my 2nd child the thing is when i have her out she does not let any dogs near me or my kids she does not bit but will worn them away, o all so havemy sister staffy for 1week as she in on holiday my sister staffy ellie does not like dog at all snoop is thing with ellie inless she goes near 1 of my kids i keep them apart but do try get them togetter when kids are away they r fine at 1st then just dont get on ellie n snoop are sisters is there any advice you can give me as would b great to take both dogs out at same time

I think you are taking on a lot offering to look after a Staffy that is known to be DA together with your girl who is over protective of you and your family. Perhaps you should reconsider.

what a day hard work pays off snoop now letting ellie near kids n 2 dog play in garden togetter, me n my partner been in garden all day with dog training them any time 1 of them groweld at the other go taking in house for 5min then took out side to play they so got to grips at it and started to play nice just have to put more work in with both of them and me and my sister will have to take dogs out together still got a long way to go

Good luck. The more you walk them together the better they will bond. Just be wary of leaving them alone together unsupervised.

I have 3 and they all get on great. I don't leave them alone unsupervised long as they tend to get eachother interested in trouble. They help excercise eachother as well, but sometimes they need to be told to chill out. I find it invigorating.

had both dog out the day playing nice out at the feild they were great, well my kids r no happy as ellie away home just shows hard work pays off it was great having to dogs thinking of getting a 2nd pup next year but will c as my partner work away but will think hard about it, it took me 5year b4 i got snoop after my 2 family dog died
