Butch, Staffie, DOB 04 - Chessington
Homing Requirements: Butch needs a special family who understand Staffies to enable Butch to settle after 2 years in kennels. He will need to learn to settle around dogs again. Not for very young children. In confident Staffie people hands he will flourish. Secure garden.
Video: Butch on a rare walk
Video: Butch with a skip in his step
His Story: Butch's owner married and when their first baby came along his wife was too nervous to have Butch around. Reluctantly Butch was placed in kennels and the covert to pay his kennel bill for the rest of his life to ensure he was safe. Hearing of our rescue, the owners have agreed for us to try and find Butch a new home. Butch is neutered and vaccinated.
Advert: Butch is one large dollop of Staffie ... love his cotton socks! Butch has got into a kennel mentality of survival, but apparently when kennel staff have taken him home for an overnight he has rejoiced in rolling on carpet, cuddles and pottering around an English garden of delightful smells. Yes he is a snorer and snortles. He is one hell of a cuddle! Butch needs rescuing and whoever grants him the opportunity of a life beyond kennels will be paid back in kind forever by this dear, dear lad. Butch is a little poppy at other dogs and he will take time to acclimatise and relax around dogs for sure.
Butch is ... well Butch! A medium sized Staffie but with a chunky feel and a thick set neck. His little button eyes shine on praise or strokes. His back legs are wasted from prolonged kennelling but they march to time as he saunters on his walk with the attractive Staffie walk. Creme da la Creme of Staffies ... Oh my!
