Thank you Ah, I wondered over this because I'v been discouraged from getting into a situation where she's pee's and poo's in the crate as it can set toilet training back? However on the other hand when she is in her crate at night I wouldn't want her soiling her bed? Whats the other advice out there? x

Re: My blue/Brindle girly! xx
As far as toilet training goes just keep letting her outside every half hour or so/ when she first wakes in the morning and after play and after meal times would be the main times to watch for then give lots of praise when she does go.
We were concerned about this when we first got Rocky but he just sits infront of the back door now when he wants to go out and we still say "Good Boy" when he does go.

Re: My blue/Brindle girly! xx
Well she had newspaper because her bed was so small and like you, she needed sumwher to go if we were not there to let her out.
Mind you, she still peed and pooped all over her bedding, she even managed to poop into her water bowl once!
Btw we put pilow cases over her bed as this was easier to keep it clean!
As she wasn't allowed out, we put newspaper by the door that we wanted her to go to when she was housetrained, and trained her to go there in the first month we had her, they learn so quickly that it's not nice to go in their beds or living area so as soon as she knows where it's good to go, she won't want to go in her crate!!

Re: My blue/Brindle girly! xx
Hi, welcome to the forum. She's a very pretty pup, love the little white chin!
Re: the crate & toileting. When Dempsey was a pup we didn't put paper or anything in his crate, but we did put the bottom half of a pet carrier, with some bedding in there so he didn't feel 'lost' in it. He used to go outside at about 11pm, have a bit of play to get him tired then he'd go in his crate. But I'd get up at about 4am to let him out again & he rarely had any accidents in the crate.

She's a cracker. Cherish the small cuteness, it wont last long all fun and games till about 4 months. I have loved the different stages with milo, cute puppy, silly juvenile and then just nutter.
