Suki's first swim
The dog resort we went to the other day had a pool. I've always wanted Suki to go swimming but she just doesn't want any part of the water even though she loves the shower.
Here she is checking out the pool and watching her friends go for a swim

Here is me trying to convine her to come into the water. She hates my hats so I figured surely this would convience her to take the plunge.

I ended up picking her up and sitting in the water with her

Finally, I let her swim while keeping a close eye on her. She wasn't overly impressed and swam to the side of the pool. We did this two seperate times and she seemed to be a little more relaxed the second time but just may turn out to not be a water dog.

Poor Suki, she doesnt look to sure to begin with does she. Well done for getting her in at least. Maybe she will figure out that it is a great way to cool down eventually.
Just try it in short sessions to see if she will get used to it ?? Great pics

We tried that as well as food and she just wasn't going to go in on her own. Hopefully after a few more trips she will start to enjoy herself more. If not that's okay too just want to see if she can enjoy herself

Great pics, Bella had that look on her face when she accidentally went swimming in the dam. Great idea having a doggy pool. Maybe after a few visits she will like it

Last one her eyes tell the whole story of how dad tried to drop her in the drink, she saved herself only to be draged back into the abyss of water! Lol, hope she gets into it like Winston so we can have some proper Suki videos swimming!

This is my hope but I just don't have a good feeling about her being a water dog.

I was hoping she would do just that. We took her the the beach two days later and she wouldn't go anywhere near the water.
