Strange behaviour from Lily
I can't make out what's going on with Lily. She seems to have recovered from the op well but she's definitely not herself. She keeps darting around - she's just darted under the coffee table and got tangled in the wires and pulled a very large glass lamp off the table and it smashed into a thousand peices. She is doing a bit of tail chasing and chewing at her legs too. She had her anals done 2 weeks ago and she was flea treated with Advocate on the day we got her 4 weeks ago, she had previously been treated by the rescue. Anyone any suggestions please

Its probably just the stitches, i know there won't be many but the tightness might be annoying. Just keep an eye on her and see what she does tomorrow

Re: Strange behaviour from Lily
Could be the after affects of the procedure as well as the stitches. She should be back to normal soon.

Just come back from the vets - poor Lily is having a phantom pregnancy!! He said it sometimes happens when they are done within 6 weeks of a season but its not the case with Lily. He has given me something to stop the milk production - no wonder she was feeling crap. ><

He said it was rare - also said it would take a couple of days to put right, also made some vague reference to mastitis which I really hope she doesn't get. I suppose if she were a human she would be on HRT

Poor Lily I guess she needs lots of cuddles, but you dont need anyone to tell you to do that
