Im new to this - Is there something wrong?
I have a 9 week old puppy, she has settled in to family life well and has been a pleasure! Potty training has been going well and thankfully from a firm "no" the nibbling at the kids has started to subside. Beau has been very "me" orientated since she came to us 9 days ago. We visited the breeder before hand are maintaining contact.
The problem I have is hopefully a little paranoia - today I came home and Beau was not interested in me what so over. There was no tail wagging or any sign of pleasure at my presence! She has also seemed to be more windy than usual today aswell as very tiredsome. She has had company for the duration of the day,but has been uninterested in human engagement. The first injection was administered last monday and she loves being in the garden. Her food hasnt changed.

hi Dave, she was really playful with me this morning and ate her breakfast as normal, my oh has been been in the house with her all day, there hasnt been any runny poos and less poos than she normally would have! i came home at 4pm and she is curled up on her mat (which she hasnt bothered with), there doesnt seem to be any changes in behaviour apart from the disinterest in everything, my oh said that she was shaking earlier and lost interest in affection at about 2pm! Today was the first time i have been away from her and am really hoping its some separation issue although im aware that may be pretty naive of me

Great stuff , sorry I missed your post last night I turned in early in favour of TV. Pleased she seems like she was just sulking . You've just got to keep popping out and she'll soon realise you are coming back. Last time we left Tilly with my stepson overnight she was a nightmare , wouldn't eat , wouldn't settle kept going to the door looking for us, he was worried as Tilly really loves to go there as she plays with his 2 big Bull Mastiff's but she just wasn't interested. We got back in the morning and she was all over us. The only change this time is that on previos overnights my daughter has stopeed there with her , but this time she came with us so maybe she thought we had left her for good
