Naughty Lola
Hi my 7 month old puppy Lola has become aggressive towards other dogs. She lives with big sis lily and 4 cats. When we are out she attacks other dogs. She was on the lead today and a Jack Russell attacked lily who was off lead. As we went to get Lily lola turned on the dog and bit it really hard. She does this off lead too. Please help as I don't know what to do as she is soft as anything otherwise x

Re: Naughty Lola
At 7 months she's starting to get into the teenager stage - knows everything, listens to nothing & nobody understands her!
Bearing in mind that some staffords really don't like other dogs at all, the only thing you can do is go back to basics with her training & socialisation. Keep her on lead whenever there are dogs anywhere near, and if someone allows their dog to come near just ask them to take it away as Lola might not be friendly.
Teaching the "Watch" command is helpful to take a dog's attention away from other dogs - just hold a treat in front of your face & as soon as she looks at it, say "Watch" and give her the treat. After a while as soon as you say "watch" she'll look at you for a treat, even if you don't have one!
Do you know anyone who has a bomb-proof dog that you could walk her with? On lead, of course. Start with you & the other owner walking side by side with the dogs on the outside, then bring one in to the middle, then swap over, and if that's ok try walking them side by side (keeping a good note of body language as you go).

Re: Naughty Lola
Agree with Caryll. I would also try to limit her off lead time with dogs that you know are well socialized

Re: Naughty Lola
Thanks for the advice. Lola is so different from my other girl who loves other dogs and wants to play with them. lily and Lola playfight all the time biting and growling but they don't hurt each other. Should I stop this?
