Re: rawhide edible shoes?
I'm not sure what those are TBH. She is most likely teething and trying to get some relief from the pain. Sliced and frozed carrots, sweet potatos or a frozen kong will help her out alot.

Re: rawhide edible shoes?
In don't like rawhide at all, no matter what shape they're in! They swell in the stomach & if the dog (especially a pup) swallows a large-ish bit it can cause a blackage. In my opinion they shouldn't be on sale at all!
If your pup's teething then a nylabone or a kong would be much better for chewing, or maybe a frozen banana or carrot. Even a raw bone would be ok.

I dont think anything in the shape of a shoe would be a good idea anyway.... just lets them know its OK to chew anything that looks like a shoe
Have a look at something like this :

If it is teething, ice-cubes are good aswell! Bailey loved getting ice cube's, he still gets them every now and then if he gets too hot lol! Funny to watch them if its on laminate flooring or something aswell haha !!

Re: rawhide edible shoes?
hi i have a 5 month old puppy and she has the hard bone raw hide type yeh they are good for teething and stops her from chewing my shoes but yes you must watch her once she has chewed it right down as it gets soggy and if it gets to small she may choke on it so i take it away when it gets small

Re: rawhide edible shoes?
I have got Stag bars and nyla bones and hard rubber toys for Charlie to chew on and I will soak a few of the knotted rope toys in water and freeze them for when he really starts teething hard, we did that for Polly last year and it really helped her, we also gave her cold carrots and cold chunks of Apple and chunks of frozen bananas to chew.

Stag Bars are brilliant, they last for ages. Heston has spent 4 months working hard on his and its still not small enough for me to have to replace. Its a firm favourite and we go everywhere with it to keep him occupied!

Rolo has loved his Nylabones... they've saved my hands especially in the evenings when he seems to get the worst teething pain. We also froze carrots and wet tea towels tied in a knot.
