blue staffy... pitbull?

hi this is my first post so i hope it works

ive had harley since he was 6 weeks old hes now nearly 7 months and i love him more and more every day... we take lots of walks to all sorts of places from woods to parks to shops. On every walk harley likes to stop and meet new people and dogs i dont think ive ever known such a socailable animal its great.... anyway on afew occasions now people have approached me to ask about harley and what breed he is when i tell them hes a blue staffy they have said no hes not hes got pitbull in him or hes a pitbull. Now i love harley no matter what and hes a big softie aslong as you dont mind him nibbling on your fingers and ears when hes excited, but i would appreciate some reassurance from you all that he looks to you like a full staffy. Looks like a blue staffy to me. Doubtful there is pit in there as it is a banned breed over there. I have toms of pits here and tbh yours is not one I'd call a pit. He sure is lovely looking though. Also, I do like pits as well, they are just far wider and larger in general and the blues tend to have blue noses. Last of all, welcome!

What a beautiful boy Regards his breeding; I'd say as he fills out, the more he will look like the typical 'show' SBT.

Ignore what a lot of people say, they think every dog has some Pitbull in them these days.

The amount of Bully type dogs I come across every day, I ask the owner what it is, or what it is mixed with and typical responses are 'Pitbull', 'Red nose Pit'. I'm just like..whatever LOL.

yes you get some pl,anks that will say ooo must be pit as its blue they talk a load of rubbish just let them get on with it

Hey there thankyou all for your responses its reassuring to hear and how lovely of you to comment on how good he looks... i love him no matter what he is he could be bright pink for all i care it just upset me when people were telling me different to what i know, guess i gotta be abit less sensitive lol

and from now on i will let them think what they want cause i know my harleys a full staffy

He's looks great to me looks similar to my Samson i think people ask the pitbull question because of the colour not because they know anything about dogs

I'd echo what everybody else says - he looks all staff to me - and a beautiful boy as well! Have a look through the galleries here & you'll see a few blue staffs that look quite similar to yours! I honestly can't see pitbull in him at all.

awww hes lovely defo a staffy thats what i get asked all the time with my 15 week old pup blue is he an irish blue (pit) am like no! xx

I am no expert but he looks all Staffy to me. I met a blue pitbull at our vet's recently, very pretty, you can tell the difference in the face and head.

He's beautiful

Hes lovely, very handsome and looks really playful! And yes definately a staff can't see anything else in there!

Looks pretty similar to Zeus, I'd definatly say Staffy.

I get it all the time too, everyone seems to think Zeus is a pit
