Staffie needing a home
Met a young boy, maybe around 15 years old that has a Staffie X. It is around 4 months old and has had its jabs.
The boy asked me if I wanted to buy the dog as his dad won't let him keep it anymore. He seemed like an okay lad and wants it to go to a new home. He was asking me advice on where he could list it and I mentioned there are Staffie Rescues and his pup would be adopted probably very fast as it is a cracking little pup. However he is concerned about money as he paid for the dog and wants some cash back.
I dont know this chap at all but it made me sad to think this dog could get into the wrong hands so I said I'd mention it on here.
Here are some pictures I took. You can call the boy on his mobile and he is based in Huddersfield. Hope this is allowed and okay? Thanks

Re: Staffie needing a home
People like that do not deserve to own any sort of animal. Really hope he takes your advise and gives him to a shelter.
As for getting his money back WTF?!?

Re: Staffie needing a home
I know, I know.
He seemed like an okay kid, he is only young. Apparently the puppy makes too much mess. Well derrrr, it's a puppy. He had no clue on training or dogs in general it seemed. His dad now wants it gone, I felt really bad for it so though I mention it here as there are some good people. Don't want some idiot getting hold of it.
I guess money is a lot to a teenager. I don't wanna beat up on the boy just hope it gets a good home.

Re: Staffie needing a home
If he wants a return on his money then the dog could well go to a bad home.
Try to get him to go to a rescue centre. It's the only way to ensure the pups' future.
In the pics the poor dog looks frightened.

omg, i want to cry. I blame breeders who dont give a *. They dont vet the puppys new home, and any good breeder will allways take the pup back in, so why dont they do tha. What did this guy think he was getting, a cudley toy. All puppys a messy, fact. This poor lad must be gutted, as for his father, what a *

Poor little pup looks terrified, hopefully it's because of Troy staring him down and not how he always looks?
Bless if I was closer I would take him but i wouldn't be paying for him, a new owner would have enough to fork out in havin the pup vet checked etc

Re: Staffie needing a home
Trust me, I felt like taking the dog myself! Hate to think of what could become of him.
I did tell him to take it to a shelter, but he is concerned about getting money back he paid. I tried, let's see what happens.
I see his mate around walking his dong so I'll keep you up to date if I hear anything. In the meantime, his number is within my first post if anyone is interested in the dog!

Re: Staffie needing a home
I agree with Janet but it sounds like His greed is
More to be satisfied nt the dogs well being

Re: Staffie needing a home
I do not disagree with what you are all saying, he sounds more concerned with his money than the dogs well being. But I don't care about that, I just thought I'd try here to see if anyone was interested because I was concerned about the dog, not him and know there are decent people on here.
I tried to tell him to take it to a rescue centre as mentioned for the 3rd time now.
Anyway, I've tried.
Cheers all.
