Adding rice to kibble...

I'm thinking of adding some rice to Gabbi's kibble to try and firm up these poos a bit!

I normally buy wholegrain brown rice - will this do the job or should I buy some white rice for her?!

Any advice appreciated

I used to add rice to Moo's JWB, she loved it

It did firm up her poo but it still deteriarated throughout the day so after a few months I swapped her onto another kibble.

I rate JWB but her poo only bacame firm all day when I swapped her to fish4dogs and I saw a rapid improvement.

I'm going to try Burn's once we've got through this mahoosive bag i bought - which rice did you use white or brown?

I started to add weetabix and that is a massive no no, again I can't remember why lol. Helpful

Have you checked the kibble ingrediance label, as some do already contain rice ??

Rocky is also on JWB at the mo but we may move onto something else in the future if he gets bored with it.

26% rice in the kibble apparently - her poos get too loose as the day goes on and i'm hoping a bit of extra rice may do the trick.

Boom! First poo after adding some white rice to her lunchtime kibble was much better
