12 month clinical history
Just wondered if anyone else who has rescues has had any issues with getting hold of the clinical history? Seems Ledger will need it if I am to claim for him having his tooth removed on Friday but I only rescued him in July.
I presume that they would have been completely checked by the rescue vet and was planning to get Ledger a tooth clean when he goes in for his vaccinations in a few weeks but it seems if he isn't part of a 12 month regime then he may not be covered.
Learning point for me but I never even saw that in the policy booklet (Sainsburys) guess I am lucky its not an expensive bill as they have just told me on the phone that it will considerably slow down the payout until the history can be got for them.

I don't know Moo's history other than she had 3 homes before me, I don't even think I was asked that when I insured her but I can't remember. Either way I have never had to make a claim (touch wood).
So no I'm not really sure on that 1 Xx

Re: 12 month clinical history
I'd get the rescue centre to write to the insurance company on your behalf to say that their vets checked her over & that she was in good health. They might need their vet to countersign the letter.
