Vinnie also has got fussy!!
Vinnie has gone off his tripe for breakfast and other raw meat aswell. If he doesnt eat it I do take it away. He does have a few treats when I crate him to go out, would this make a difference?. He also has meat at teatime with veg which he eats no problem. Any suggestions what I can try, or maybe his main meal at teatime which is a whole frozen block thawed out about 484g is enough.

I don't feed raw so not sure on the portion size. If he is refusing to eat and you take it away that is how I would react as well. They won't starve themselves and he is probally just holding out for something he likes better.

Yes, either take it away or reduce his evening meal a little. He might still be full from the evening's meal.

Hope you dont mind me asking, but what is the frozen block you feed to Vinne? Is it raw, and if so what make. Looks like his main meal could be enough for him?

yes it is raw I get it out and let it thaw he has lamb, beef, rabbit or tripe. The make is either Forthglade or Albion Meats. Perhaps you may have another suggestion.

Sadly no I havent got another suggestion, as I am having kind of the same thing with Pixee, she has turned her nose up at all dried dog food, and I thought perhaps try her on a raw diet, but a easy one, which is why I asked about that block. Sorry, but I do hope Vinnie soon stops being fussy for your peace of mind.

Re: Vinnie also has got fussy!!
Tripe is very filling and also very fattening, I suggest only giving him tripe once or twice a week. Most adult dogs are fine with one meal a day and will stick to that of their own accord. In the wild they would have at least one day a week when they wouldn't eat at all (not that I'm suggesting you starve vinnie!)

Re: Vinnie also has got fussy!!
Billy went off his raw for a bit and would only eat chicken and beef and heart but only if it was slightly cooked did this for a couple of weeks. He Was going into kennels so we went back to raw and he was fine.
So maybe just cook it slightly in olive oil
