Fussy moo shines
So, I tried giving max a piece of liver tonight, and he's really unsure, I ended up cutting it up and he kept taking it out of his bowl but not eating it.
So I guess my question is what do I do? Lol
He's got tons of stuff in the freezer, liver, kidney, lambs hearts, lamb bones etc..
It's a step up from the prize choice minced meat so I guess hes use to that lol
Thanks guys

Try feeding it frozen, flash fried, mixed in with something he will eat or tough love, dont give him anything else until he eats it :-)
I mixed liver and kidney with Tripe mince, so he couldnt smell it and he ate it fine

Re: Fussy moo shines
Yeah I'll try that, I took it away from him in the end, ill try again tomorrow
Funny thing is he kept putting it in his mouth and spitting it back out lol, and where he kept picking it up and dropping it he licked the floor where it was, silly dog
Ill try frozen tomorrow if that don't work I might try tough love, I'm sure once he has it he'll love it

Re: Fussy moo shines
So max didn't want it again this morning so I didn't give him his breakfast, should I do tough love and try again later tonight and if he still doesn't eat it, fast him till morning and try again? I don't know how long you can fast a dog for... Or should I leave it? And not get the liver anymore, thing is I'm worried hell be the same with the kidney I got him also lol
I'm not sure if its because of texture or what, but he's finally taking in chicken wings properly

Re: Fussy moo shines
Yeah leave it down for 15 minutes and lift it if he's not ate it. Tough love is harder on the owner than the dog my boy went 36 hours without eating a single thing lol! They can go a few days so don't worry, although I'd maybe try giving it frozen or flash fried first and see if that tempts him. I prefer trying different methods and then using tough love as a last resort!

Yeah I gave a piece to him frozen this morning, he was licking it but just walked away from it I left it there for about 10 minutes but then removed it.. Ill try flash fried later on when it's his dinner time
Well I'm hoping he'll eat it eventually so I don't need to do to the tough love, thanks for your advice, greatly appreciated
