Steve & Pippa(walk advice)
Evening All, Pippa(pic attached I hope) is 12 weeks old. She is ready for her first walk Tuesday. So I need to do two things on my first post.
1. Nice to meet you all and I am sure you will help me with my new friend, and hopefully as I gain experience I can help others also.
2. Sneakily ask for advice on excercise levels for puppys of this age and model. She has boundless energy in the house then whomp, wants a cuddle and sleep. I dont want to tire her out, but she is stir crazy and picking up bad habbits through been housed for this length of time.
Not posting pictures because the system is over my head, dissapointing but you've lost me. Any advice greatly appreciated.
Regards
Steve

Re: Steve & Pippa(walk advice)
Hi & welcome.
What a cute pic!
Exercise-wise, I'd go by the 5 minutes per month of age maximum. However, there's nothing to stop you playing with her at home to tire her out as long as she's left alone when she wants to crash out!

Cute
Yes she looks cute in this picture but she has her moments as I am sure you all know. She is a rescue dog as was last one we had(Josh) who we lost at Christmas. So painful I swore never again.................we all do that that dont we. As far as I am concerned a house without a dog is not a home.
I was about 11 when my parents got the first puppy I had ever had to be responsible for, a least in part, but for my wife and kids this is the first experience of a proper puppy.
Its the nipping and biting thats a bit tiring but I am sure it just boredom until we can escape into the big wide world tommorow.
Toilet training also is a bit slow because she doesnt like the cold or rain, but we are getting there slowly. I have bought her a brolly and wellies. Well we do live in NE UK by the sea.
You guys have some beautful loooking pets, it's not really a breed I had had much too do with but when they need a home what do you do.
Thanks for all your comments, you have made us fantastically welcome. Much appreciated.
