Vlad Update

Hi everyone. Just like a lot of you requested, I'm just giving an update on Vlad after his operation. We have just arrived home with him and he is quiet (well, quiet for Vlad!) and a bit dopy from the anaesthetic. We bought him a new comfy bed and a furry pillow for him to cuddle (and to destroy when he's recovered). He had a wee and a poo as soon as we took him into the garden and had a drink and is now in his crate chomping on his new pillow. Everything went well and apparently he was a very good boy. I will let everyone know how he progresses. Thank you

good to hear! he was a good boy? fantastic! Russell howled and cried from the moment I left the vet to the moment he was under anaesthetic and then from the moment he woke up to the moment he was with me again.

good boy Vlad!!!! I'm sure it will be a quick recovery

Vlad went straight to the vet nurse when she took his lead and went to explore the room! He has cried a little bit, but mainly when one of us goes to the toilet or to do something in the kitchen. He is currently snoozing cuddling his pillow shaped like a lamb.

glad he's ok and was a good boy >< he'll be up to his usual self tomorrow after the drugs have worn off a bit so then your fight to keep him calm starts good luck

hehehe, well it was me, meg, my husband, vlad and russell there were some pics a few weeks back

Even though he's a bit wonky and cries whenever one of us leaves the room (Lee is camping in the lounge room tonight!) he's almost back... just a calmer version for a few hours

Thanks... I was a bit of a mess this morning! Up at 5.30am because I was very worried. I went to the gym to try and stop worrying while he was at the vet, but had my phone with me (which I usually keep in a locker) and was constantly checking it... so, not a productive work out. Too worried.
