Katy and her Kit's (Now 12 Days old)

Update:
Today katy had her babies There looks to be 5 and from the looks 2 grey 2 pink and 1 orange haha .. she has had them out of her nest box but has made a great nest for them so im not too worried as they are in a shed too, i have covered them up with extra covers for tonight as i usually throw a cover over them all at night anyway and in the morning i will put the nest in the nest box, didnt want to mess to much today

I took in another Rescue bunny today .. She is 7months old a Rex and is currently in Kit .. She is due on the 10th of April but obv like any birth she can have them a couple of days before or after.
Shes a lovely girl! races round untill you catch her like my old english lol but lovely and sweet when you have her and handling her .. Her old owner said can be a lil grumbly and grunt every now and then lately but thats to be expected her been in kit .
She is currently in her new spacious hutch enjoying some straw, she was in pretty small indoor cage when i collected her as her outdoor hutch got ate by a fox at the side .. she is in need of a good brush and nail cut but i will leave her for a couple of days to settle before i do those, dont want her stressing out.

Anyway, Heres Katy .. took a couple of her before i put her in her new home to be left to settle

Vinnie n skye .. 5 rabbits 7guinea pigs including the mom and 4wk old babies i rescued lol .. 12fish and unsure how many babies katy will have

Thanks all .. I got them out to check em and put em in the nest box and saw 6 and sadly dug a lil deeper and found a 7th hadnt made it so i got him out before she knew and have buried him/her .. Rip baby bunny
My fingers and toes are so tightly crossed for the remaining 6!

Now 6 Days old the Kits are almost all fully furred all getting there colouration and markings .. they are a week old 2moz so they will be opening those little eyes by the end of the week / beginning of next which is when the fun will begin! lmao making sure they keep out of danger.

haha! my brother was the same .. his GF wants one of them so i said id txt him when theyre born .. i txt him and emailed him a pik when they were born and his reply was "omg they are *explicit* Ugly!!" lmao.

They look like they are covered in silk so smooth and soft I bet, just gorgeous can't stop looking at them.

Thanks all .. Yeaaah they and katy are very soft the rex fur is gorgeous! Could stroke it all day lol .
Haha yeaah they are caryll they will look funny when them ears grow in! Haha

Well we are now at 12days old =) and they get cuter by the day =P .. they now have all there fur and they are starting to open there eyes =) .. i had them out the nest to day to have aquick clean of there eyes, if in the morning we still have crusty eyes then i will be bathing them with some warm water again to help the process along abit.
Mom is doing well too, even tho when the babys occasionally venture out the nest it makes her jump haha bless her.
Lightings not the best but im keeping them out of bright light inc camera flash untill there eyes have been fully opened for a fair few days, theyre highly sensitive for the first few days =)
