Post by Staffy lover Tue Mar 20 2012, 12:45

As we know, our staffys toys dont last long. Has anyone brought a squeaky toy ? I was thinking of getting one, to see how Pixee would like it, knowing her, it could be ripped to bits Laughing , but I was warned by hubby please no nosisy squeaky toys Laughing . Pixee always has toys, but I wanted to try a change.

They last all of 10secs with Moo until she manages to get the squeaker out (which has to be removed because its so small), and another 5secs to de-fluff them Laughing

Ledger de squeaks on contact he doesn't destroy the squeaker though so I save them to confuse him when I feel mischievous Wink

They don't last very long. However if you can manage to get the squeaky before it is broken it can provide lots of fun. We have a few that we will squeak every so often to get Suki's attention

When Romeo was a puppy he had tonnes of squeaky toys. He had a rubber chicken from the pound shop that was his favourite. I've still got it somewhere but he doesn't play with toys anymore. Sad He used to sit and squeak the balls and 'sing' to them. It sounded like he was gargling. Now he doesn't do anything Tongues
Aw he was such a bizarre little puppy, such a shame losing all his puppy pictures and videos. They were all on my old phone that got lost. Crying or Very sad

we have squeaky balls that Russell loves sometimes...
every now and then he will go on zoomies around the house carrying it and squeezing it the whole way.

he only destroys toys that have stuffing to pull out so the squeaky balls last forever

Monty has one ! It's a big bone my bro bought for him off the kids. He bought it ages ago, and only NOW Monty has clocked it. It does my dads head in, I love it ! Laughing It's hard rubber, no teeth marks just yet ... he just loves the sound of it at the moment : )

Ty loves to rip his squeeky toys to bits as soon as he gets them but the squeeky pig is a completly different story he hates it! Hes absolutly petrefied when it squeeks the first time we showed him it he peed on the spot then ran and hid. I have had to hide it because the OH thinks its funny to chase him round the house with it Tys not impressed when it comes out lol he will not go near it.
