Strange Behavior
Since getting Piglette, Monte has begun acting a bit weird at random times. It probably is just a transition phase, but about a third of the time he doesn't want to go for walks or runs anymore. He litterally plants his feet and pulls for home. Piglette isn't ready to join us, but he and Frosty need their excercise. They can get like all bored staffs if they don't! Frosty hates going without Monte but doesn't have the same aversion to leaving Piglette yet. The weird thing is that they don't seem too bonded to Piglette yet. Maybe they just think she is going to change the locks on them or something while they are out... any suggestions to get the boys more interested in getting out for their AM run? Doesn't seem to be as bad in the evening.

Ben, have you tried taking one of their favourite toys with you on the walks, it may encourage them out a bit further. May be a squeaky toy to keep their interest might work ??

Re: Strange Behavior
Never had 2 dogs, let alone 3 so I can't help, I agree though I guess its just a settling phase and when Piglette can come out on walks they'll have a whale of a time! Could you try taking Monte on his own so he has all your attention? Xx

Re: Strange Behavior
I'll try treats. It's just strange. Gotta get the energy out though or it will be one of those days!

Re: Strange Behavior
I would think treats as well but it could just be part of the setteling in process
