What size did you get? I remember the one I first got was massive, I returned it and got a smaller one.

It can be wait and see with a rescue dog I know Rocky is also rescue. We were originally told he was Staffy border collie cross but he is looking more like Staffy Lab cross now. Never mind we love him to bits whatever he turns out to be.

We got Vlad a big one... there was only one bigger and he loves his crate now... I get a bit sad when he bypasses me of a night and walks straight into his crate and lies down with one of his chew toys! But he comes back out for a quick cuddle before taking himself off to sleep LOL

We have a 42inch crate for Sophie, it gives her plenty of room to stretch out at night. She is very happy with it.

The bigger the better in my opinion. If you have the room for it, get as big as possible.
