It'll get better, don't worry! At 8 weeks they don't have full control of their bladder/bowel, but it'll be improving all the time.

well
I get my 8 week puppy at home on thursday afternoon....
I already wake up every day at 5 am.. so... it will be interesting to experience again the broken nights.. my daughter is 3 y.o. so I lost the habit...:-)
But I read not to go to them when is night time.... because they might look for attention and stick with this trick also later in life....
Say for example I put her in the crate at 11,30pm (after she wees etc) .. should I let her out before I get up at 5am? say at 3pm?
Or can I just (for the night time and the beginning) leave half of the big crate with newspapers and hope she will do her business there? Too much to hope? Not good?
Some advised me in this way.... but I am afraid she will stick to pee in the crate also later... unless when she learn to be more in control of bladder, will wait until morning (at that point i won't use anymore newspapers in her crate...) what do you reckon>?

It sounds like you are making some progress and going in the right direction. Keep up the good work, it may well take some time but it will be worth it.
