I'm quite lost

I'm quite lost
Dropped the girls off at the boarding kennel (doggy prison as Steve thinks) around 5 hours ago and I can't stop looking up the hall way or at the door expecting their faces to appear.
I even manged to open the pantry door without the thunderous pitter patter that usually follows.
I feel like a very bad mummy

Re: I'm quite lost
Not till 4.50am our time (it's 10.13pm over here now). Still 6 & a 1/2 hours away, but we have to check in around 3 hours before flight.
I'm really worried Izzy will freak at every sound and set the whole place off
Kita will probably sleep through it all

They'll be fine, just think of it as a holiday for them

Re: I'm quite lost
I just heard Trevor cursing about something and saying "this is ridiculous". I was like "what's wrong...."
His reply, "I keep looking down at the dog bed and expecting to see their faces looking back at me".
Glad I'm not the only one.
I think my stepson is going to be the one that finds it the hardest as not only are the dogs not here, tomorrow he will only have himself for company. I think he will be ringing the kennel and seeing if he can board there as well.

Re: I'm quite lost
A kennels i worked in had an akita in and the only people who could go near it was the family but they had left it in cause their son was at home alone and he wasn't trusted to look after her, but he came out everyday and walked her. IT was totally pointless and a waste of a few hundred quid for them!
