Lottie's progress
when we first got Lottie she was very unfit and needed to put on a little weight. We would take them both out to play and she would be able to run for about 10 minutes then she would lie down Lemmy would run circles round her so we would cut the play short and take the long way home on a walk. As you can see by the pictures and videos she can now keep up with him. Over taking him sometimes. She also couldnt climb, she could jump but not climb. The simplest of places like getting on the couch she couldnt lift her back legs up enough to get them on the sofa. Now she climbs up or jumps up depends how she feels. Lemmy also sits on a little box at the side of the computer and watches and Lottie thinks its great cos she can climb on it as well and she sits looking so pleased with herself. Her weight has gone from 20kg when we got her to 28.5kg so thats enough any more and she will get fat. Remember she's crossed with a boxer so she isnt a little one. The vet is pleased with her weight and health and the trainer isnt worried about her temprement. She is loud and barks and pulls in class but that is to be expected to start with till she gets used to the close proximity. She is good on normal walks and lets people pass by without a second thought these days. All in all she is coming along fine right on schedule for every one involved in her. Now to get her to stop barking and howling at the security light every time that comes on

Re: Lottie's progress
i always say its down to the dog. she has to trust enough to let you help her and we are blessed that she let her guard and let us in. she's a sweet heart and a pleasure to have around. she takes baby steps to where we need to be but she doesnt hesitate to take those steps if your right there with her. you might as well say she is using us all as a walking stick to help her along.
