In the News Again Today

This was on the news at 6 again tonight. It happend 31 years ago.

The story is about how Lindy Chamberlain was convicted of murdering her daughter and later cleared. This is the fourth inquest into the case. The girls parents insist she was killed by a dingo.

I hope that this case is finally put to rest and the poor little girl can rest in peace.

Nah, we don't know anymore here. Azaria Chamberlain would be around my age now... She was only a few months older than me.

I think its being brought up because the Mum wants to be officially cleared of harming her own daughter or something like that.

I saw something about that on the news this morning.

I do think it should end now, and the poor little girl should be left to rest in peace now, but, as a mother, I know that if I was accused of murdering any of my children, I'd fight tooth and nail to clear my name. it must be awful to have to carry that around with you - people would always be wondering, and you'd know it.
