Lottie's confidence
well as i type this gemma is baking. she got the mixer out and turned it on. lottie shot across the kitchen to my legs and sat leaning on me. we do not acknowledge nervous behaviour like this with cuddles or any kind of affection she is just ignored and usualy settles down (her bed is her sfe place so she usualy goes there) she learns herself that not all things and noises are out to get her. the trick is to let her figure it out herself. it doesnt take as long these days infact the mixer was fantastic. she ran to me sat for a minute went to bed then decided against that and went to investigate what it was then came back to me looking better tail wagging as if she was telling me it was OK. thats the quickest she has ever doen that

Re: Lottie's confidence
That's great to hear that she's overcoming her fears/nervousness.........baby steps.
You're doing a great job with her and she's lucky she has you

Y'know, that's such a fantastic improvement. She's learning to trust, and that's a major step. Well done!

Alright Lottie! When we got Frosty he was terrified of the TV. We did the same and now he ignores it completely.

well done brilliant! It just goes to show how important it is to socalise and de sensitise your pup from as early age as possible, to give them as many different experiences as poss, noises, animals whatever ou can think of! Well done though your doing great!
