I've heard them called that here, although the red nose pitbull I believe is a specific strain of APBT isn't it?

Re: a colour haven't seen
john o Sullivan once famous Irish boxer turned police officer came to America to fight in a world championship boxing match, he decided he would like to stay and made his roots there, so he contacted his parents back in Ireland, and had them them ship his red nose Pitt bulls over to him in America, this was the beginning of a business for john, because years later, his expertise and general knowledge of the old family of red nose pittbulls, he is even found name and noted in pittbull history and if you are a lover of the red nose pittbull like i am, his name should be familiar to you, it was in these times that his old family dog was introduced to America and thats how the red nose pitt bull was established to the USA

Re: a colour haven't seen
Blue Fawn Tri
website i got the image from wrote:This is the True Slate Gray Color that should be designated BLUE with blue frosting on the tips of the fawn hair, with blue etching around the color where it meets the white. The nose, eyeliner, and pads should be self colored(color of the blue hair) on a TRUE BLUE FAWN dog. The eyes are often light gold, green, blue, or gray.
Because these dogs have a double dose of "d" they are True Dilutes(True Blues).

Re: a colour haven't seen
well that colour would probably be referred to as fawn, perhaps it was a fawn crossed with a blue?
Do they call it blue-fawn or a shade of blue-brindle? What colour was the skin black or pink?
The great dane u posted is blue merle, a colour which shouldnt be present in staffords

Ugly looking little thing isn't it?! I see what you mean caryll its like hes frowning at me. Think that breeding blue on blue can increase the risk of health complications. Because blue is caused by a particular gene I think breeding two blues can wash out the colour and increase risk of skin conditions. Not sure though if its simply because you are narrowing the gene pool or cuz blues are more susceptible?!

Re: a colour haven't seen
I know the colour your talking about. I've seen that exact colour on an imported german pointer. He was stunning.
If it was that colour i doubt it was a pure bred pb, but so few are over here.
