Re: random question!!
No, dogs don't get colds. It could be a reaction to the injection, or it could just be the cold weather!
If she's ok in herself, then then there's no problem.

Re: random question!!
Dogs can't catch the common cold, no, BUT they can have cold like symptons which associate themselves with a variety of canine viruses such as Kennel cough, influenza, adenovirus, tuberculosis and most seriously canine distemper.
I doubt shes got any of the later though, kennel cough would be the first thing that comes to mind but as you said its probably a mild reaction to the injection.

Re: random question!!
this is a debatable question as some people will say no but my last dog a GSD had a runny nose and temperature and i knew he wasnt well so i took him to the vet. the asked if i had kids in the house and did they have a cold. the dog had caught a cold more than likely off the kids. they may not show all the simptoms we do but they can catch the cold

Re: random question!!
As a rule No they dont get the common cold but they can get strains of it when they are run down.
It is however more likely going to be a side affect from her first jab. Keep her warm, give plenty of fluids and if she gets worse or concerns you go back to the vets with her. If it is just a side affect it should pass within 24 - 48 hours
