Ummmm, I think she swallowed my ear-ring - Updated 04/02
I was just sittting out the back with RoXy enjoying the cooler weather we have this arvo when she jumped on my lap for a "RoXy cuddle".
She is always excitable when she jumps on my lap and generally has a lick / nibble of the ear area .......... anyway, she got my ear-ring out of my ear and I think she's swallowed it My daughter and I quickly had a look in her mouth, on my clothing, in my hair, on the chair, on the ground etc..... but no sign of it.
So, if she has swallowed it, do you think it will just works its way out naturally ( with her dinner ) I'm hoping it does'nt cause any issues.

What sort of earring is it? A long dangling one or just a stud?
If its just a stud she should be fine.
Romeo once ate two balloons and a plastic soldier toy. They all came out the other end intact...
You might want to give her some rice or bread to cushion her stomach.

Depending on the size of the earing I think it would work itself out naturally. If her eating or drinking habits change I would take her straight to the vet

Janey, I took a pic of the other ear-ring
It measures about 18mm across, and the pin part that goes through the peircing is about 15mm long.

I think that's small enough that it will work itself out. I would also look for blood in the stool over the next few days in case the pin caused some type of internal injury.

hopefully it works its way out, most things do but that earring may catch on something so just keep an eye on her poos!

I'm guessing the earring was real gold?
Maybe Loopy was artfully stealing it to take to cash for gold for some pocket money...
