Shirts for Dogs
Saxon's got a couple of coats and sweaters, but I was thinking of getting him a shirt or two, as well. Problem is his measurements are so different from the shirts available! Apparently he is an awkward shape or something!
Saxon's Stats:
Meat Head: 18"
Neck: 14"
Chest: 23"
Stomach/Tuck: 15.5"
Height at Shoulders: 15.5"
Length from neck to tail: 18"
Weight: 38lbs
Cafepress T-Shirt Sizes:
Size...Length...Neck.......Sleeve....Chest.......Weight
S......10".......4"............4"..........7.25".......up to 10 lbs.
M......12".......4.75".......4"..........8.25"........12-25 lbs.
L.......15.5"....7.75"......5.5".......9.25"........26-40 lbs.
XL......17.5"....8.75"......6.5".......11.5"........41-60 lbs.
XXL....20"......9.5"........7.5".......12.75"......61-80 lbs.
It's funny, I help people pick out the right size coat for their dog all day at PDog, but without the article of clothing in front of me, I have no idea which size to get for Saxon! What size would you go with?
Here are a couple of shirts I would like for Saxon:

Re: Shirts for Dogs
I have trouble getting things to fit Demps. He has a hoodie, but that was made to measure.
I recently bought a coat for him (22" long), but the sides weren't deep enough, so I bought another one which is 28" long so that the chest fits as he has a 36" chest!

Re: Shirts for Dogs
It's always hard to tell but I would guess XL. Are there shirts with similiar sizing yuo could try on him at work?

Re: Shirts for Dogs
We don't sell shirts, just sweaters and coats and the sizing is different from the shirts on Cafepress. I should probably go with an XL and just hem it or something.

Re: Shirts for Dogs
What interesting measurements Saxon has! He has a very old school traditional look to him.
I find it hard to get jumpers/t-shirts for Romeo because i have to get the biggest size because of his chest, but because they're for big dogs they're often too long and i have to tuck it up so he can pee.
Comparing his measurements Romeo has a 19inch head and neck, 26 inch chest, is 14 inch to the shoulder and weighs close to 51 pounds
Ebay is a good place to get dog jumpers and hoodies, theres useally a handful in the bigger sizes and most of them ship worldwide.
