yay vet and insurance finally sorted!!
phew what a relief after a month of twoing and throwing and insurance pitfalls and vets being poo heads and as soon as i say staffy the tone changes sometime follwed with 'oh she is a staffy' and wrong advice given from another..( like she has to wait till she has a season before i can spay her ) and insurance stuff going on,, like one company would only pay out if i had rivers full medical history... will obviously being a rescue i dont..so had to cancel blah blah blah ( i love that smiley) i have now found a super dooper vets and a great insurance place yay me!
Peace of mind and super dooperness all round ( dunno wot that smiley means but thought i would use it hahah)

Re: yay vet and insurance finally sorted!!
We recently changed Rocky's insurance company from Petplan to Argos.
Petplan wanted £22.50 per month and Argos only £15.00 per month for the same cover. Go figure.
We are yet to make a claim though.

I've had no problems with the insurance companies I've used (M & S and Sainsburys), bith were every reasonably priced with good cover & paid out without a problem.
What's wrong with that?

Re: yay vet and insurance finally sorted!!
well thats what i thought as not much history is known.. so thought i would wait till she had one, and other vet confirmed as well, as ppl on here... but a couple of other ppl including one involved with the place i got her from said that was popicock and i needed to get her done asap..
to be honest i wasnt happy with the old vet anyway but this new one today was nice and River laped up the attention..
so what do i do then, wait for a season or do her asap.. asap seems a bit forced to be honest.

Varied opinions on this one.
Its really up to you, my first was done before her first season and Moo after.
Most will advise to let her have 1 season at least, but it really is a personal choice.
Congrats on finding a great vets
