Accidents happen, kinda scary really, I do make sure all tme mains are off when I go out,

More than anything a lesson to other dog owners not to leave items unattended on the oven like this. Accidents can happen but leaving flammable objects in that position is an unnecessary risk that can easily be avoided.

Poor dog was just trying to make a snack for him and his cat pal, not his fault he didn't know you can't make pizza on the hob Sad

On a serious note, these kind of things are the reason why the area Violets allowed in when she's on her own is baby-proofed like mad. Cupboards are duct taped shut by their handles, nothing at all is allowed to be left in her area that isn't a safe dog toy etc. If it was up to me, I would keep her in her crate still, but we're trying to give her a bit more freedom!
