Dempsey bit my OH....

....but it was my OH's own fault!

He was holding a huge stick in the air, about shoulder height & Dempsey was bouncing around, not really making an effort just wanting the stick thrown.

I said be careful, if he jumps he'll catch your hand. No, says the OH, he can't jump that high...... >

He can. He did. He got OH's hand instead of the stick. I know I shouldn't laugh, cause it hurt, but I did tell him!

That's what I said! I was so full of sympathy....not!

You can never tell how far a dog can leap until he does. Lola is a chubby girl but she can leap in a split second and get something from my hand. She went for a tennis ball the other day and got my knuckles. Hurts a lot more when it's cold outside.

He has a nice big puncture wound on his hand, now - right between his thumb & forefinger, on the tender fleshy bit! Ouch!

Awww poor hubby dempsey didnt mean to hope he sees the funny side now hes over the shock of how high dempsey can jump

He's normally far too lazy to bother jumping, but he can bounce to shoulder height (my OH's 5' 10", so I suppose Dempsey's head was about 5' in the air!), just doesn't normally do it!

Hope it heals up fast.

My BT got me in the same place on my right hand (still got the scar's) .. just a little higher up, just where the base of the thumb joins the wrist ... hurts like hell! ... doc couldnt stitch it cus they were clean puncture holes, so they just used LOADS of sterra-strips to hold the wounds closed ..... little bugger

Hope it heals soon Suki draws blood on me at least once a week. Ever since we got her she has managed to make me say ouch or collapse in pain once a day but it is my own fault for encouraging her.

My husband's dad had an English Bull Terrier called Harry (he sadly passed away a couple of weeks after my husband and I were married ) and my husband was about to eat the last Magnum ice-cream from the freezer and he decided to tease Harry with it and wave it in front of Harry's nose... Harry, the quickest I had ever seen him move, wrapped his mouth around the Magnum and pulled it right off the stick. Myself and my husband's entire family were laughing our heads off because Harry got the last laugh in that! Silly husband... missed out on his Magnum... that's Karma for you So, Can see where Dempsey is coming from But I hope your OH's hand is okay.
