Dempsey's cat... Empty Dempsey's cat...

Post by Guest Fri May 17 2013, 21:15

Coming back into the garden from last night's late walk, Dempsey suddenly took off - he virtually flew round the corner of the garden (we have a strange shaped garden) and all I could hear was him leaping onto some huge flower pots & a cat yelling "Meeeooooowwwllllllllll!! followed by the sound of the cat scrambling up the fence and over into next door's garden. I think he might have just caught it, but I'm not sure. nail biting

Dempsey then spent the next couple of minutes huffing & puffing around the garden, getting caught under the bench and the garden chairs trying to work out where it had gone! He apparently did the same again when Eleanor let him into the garden later on! Rolling Eyes

I think it is - it certainly got over the fence ok. The yowl sounded like it'd been bitten, or maybe just really scared, but there was no blood on Dempsey so hopefully it was ok.

Maybe next time it'll think twice before it comes into our garden!

Poor cat, hope it's OK. Dempsey, why can't you just play nice? Rolling Eyes Laughing

Moo hates them, but I would be mortified if she got one. Probably best we don't have a garden!

Little sod. Tongues He started digging around in the bark chippings and marking his territory everywhere this morning. Methinks the cat may have tried to mark it himself. Tongues

Naughty Dempsey! A neighbours cat comes in our garden sometimes and Lola goes crazy if she sees it through the french windows. I wouldn't trust her with it >Smile

The first thing our 2 do when I let them out for a wee , rain or shine, day or night, is go absolutely hurtling straight to the bottom of the garden together to check out the back of the shed and under the shed for the little kitty
