Trying a new thing, leads to a disaster!
So, Someone gave me a bread machine, (it mixes kneads rises and bakes it), I have used it once before with a friend who knew what she was doing, so last night I took the ambition to try and use it myself. I dont have the owners manuel or any books with this, and I have been looking on line and have not been able to find anything on line either. So it's kinda what you see is what you get and you need to expirement. So I went and made a loaf of banana bread last night. It looked great things were going good, about 30 minutes into the bake cycle, my oh comes into the kitchen and asked is the lid supose to be open, and this happening. I was sitting in the living room watching tv and I was like what are you talking about, so I got up and checked it out. the bread was huge, poping out the top. I was expecting this to be great. so I just let it finish, took it out the top was under cooked, its so dense you cant do anything. and now my oh wants me to work on my bread skills for the day, and theres nothing like perfecting what you can do he said. lol any way It was a total disaster, and I would rather make bread the "old fashioned" way other than with technology, I cant figure out. lol
I hope I gave you all a giggle.

Well I wish they delivered, the only thing around here you get delievered is pizza. Well I went for a second batch it turned out but I think it should taste more bananay, then it does. I guess I am just gonna have to do the work of mixing/kneading by hand and bake it in the conventional oven. instead from now on. but I did get my bathroom scrubbed, trash taken to the dumpster, vacumed, and a load of laundry done. which these are all things I dispise to do. I don't mind baking as long as someone would clean up the mess, er have it clean so when I go along I can just keep up all the dishes and mess. Random thought what is a tea towel?

been there done that. All we make in our bread machine now is pizza dough. More often than not bread turns out so dense, nobody would want to eat it! We make all ours in the oven the old fashioned way. Sick of Blech bread from a machine. Lol.
