1st Walkies

Sunday was the day Vinnie was able to go out for first walkies here are some pikis my mate took of him while he was out .. took him a lil while to get the hang of it, like we had to pick him up a few times walk a lil then put him down but on his 2nd walk of the day he got a lil more eager and then this morning i only had to pick him up to put him outside then he was away! so his confidence is deffinatly gaining and his a lil trooper on the lead, his met 3 dogs so far and his been fine with them, one he barked at but playfully lol. hope to take him down the park when his got used to it properly and get him socialised with meeting other dogs etc any tips? will be grateful
He does have a harness but at the mo he dont like it so he pulls away when his walked on it, so untill his used to walkies completely his walked on collar, then we'll get him used to harness later.

Aww he is so cute i remember kaiser on his first walks was a right wimp any bit of noise that was it he sat down and u wasnt budging him lol

I remember the first time I took Bandit out. He was used to a collar, and I'd been letting him drag a lead around indoors - I'd even picked it up & led him & he was great!

Anyhow, I carried him out cause we had a few steps down into the street, put him on the ground & let him settle a minute. Then I gently tugged the lead & told him what a good boy he was & to come on.

He screamed. I've never heard anything like it, he literally screamed & screamed. All the neighbours' curtains were twitching, people walking by were giving me such looks as though I was killing the poor little puppy! It took about 5 minutes to calm him down before he would take a few steps. What a wimp!!!

haha! omg lol .. Vinnie screamed the once when he was left alone for the first time lol, its so loud!
Lol his jumper act is getting to small! lol, but with the crap weather we have especially on his later walks untill i get him a bigger one he'll be wearing it to keep him warm! haha .. his now started sitting and not moving when im bringing him back up the drive to the house lol!

Hahaha! They quickly get to know what to do, don't they? Try taking a few of his favourite treats on the walk with you, then if he won't come in at the end of the walk, you can bribe him!!
