Success with the recall
Just spent good 30 minutes in the park practicing Tyson's recalls and I think we have nailed it. Using the magic food reward, he came every single time even when running off with other dogs or towards them. I used biltong (South African air dried meat similar to jerky). He loves this and I consider it to be his highest value treat. Seems he thinks so too.
We also did some on the move sit and down stays with recall to heel and I am damn impressed. Perhaps, as our trainer says, I should just trust him more and I will be surprised! ><

Well done. Good idea using the biltong as a reward. We can get that here in UK and I will try it with Rocky training.
Thanks for the tip

Re: Success with the recall
Ty is the only body I share my biltong with. Must be very expensive in the UK though

In the pub its a couple of £ for the smallest bag. I'm good I don't have crisps etc (just numerous pints!) but I will endulge in a bag every now and then! Bet it doesn't compare to yours though!!
