I started yesterday with River but she is obedient anyway and seems to be not really bothered bu it all. i think we mastered the hole lay down command today.. i started cos i thought i could teach her drop etc.. do you think its worth clicker training??

Little Nico learned all this with clicker training:

It may be worthwhile Smile

anniemother uses clicker I think. I am afraid I just confuse Ty with it as I click it at all the wrong times.

We had a trainer for Sophie and he taught using a clicker and treats which has worked very well.

Its a great thing if done properly. I'm much the same as Lynne and would probably confuse her! Tone of voice seems to work with Moo. Let us no your progress Smile

We use a clicker but simply to get Suki's attention when we are out not any tricks or commands. When we click she will look at us and get a treat. For us it's usefull at the dog park when she gets distracted or wants to run off

Hi Agree with Janey it's all down to your tone of voice and being stern...staffs in general need only to be learned and corrected by one owner, i learnt my first two staffs from 8wks old but with bruno at 12mths there was nothing to do, he's been a brilliant staff.
