playing good or bad
my puppy playd with my friend 2 male staffyd dog and coz he growld and snapd a bit coz thy where all over him but whn his with my staffy whos 2 ruby there ok only at times he get carryd away and he start to growl at her he and if he bite to hard she yelped and whn he plays with her loose skin he sound aggresive to me might not be but ruby sits or lies there sumtimes i tell him off ie ( no bad boy ) and and because i told my friend the other day what he dose sumtimes he said i could make him aggersive towards other dog if i let him do it to ruby but he only 9 weeks wht can i do to provent him from being a naughty boi and because of wht he said i tell him of whn ever he trys to play with ruby now please help he not a bad dog and i lve thm both the same and i makeing me up set i all way tell him off whn he dose sumthink bad so it not like i prasie him for it

dogs will learn by being told off by other dogs. if your puppy gets too giddy then the older one will tell him off by giving a quick moany snap but not biting or being nasty just warning its how puppies learn. if he gets too giddy though and the other dogs start to get fed up with him then it time to stop the play and part them for a few minutes to calm down. my lemmy was always getting told off by other dogs till he learnt so dont worry about it oo much. if he gets too giddy and mouthy with you then just make a yelp sound or shout oww!!! and he will take this as a warning sound and will eventualy stop that too. its all in the training and socialising that our dogs learn and puppies especialy learn by playing with older dogs

Agree with Julie. Suki is still getting told off by some of the older dogs. Laerning about body language is important. Staffys tend to play rough so you will have to know the difference between play and aggression. Here is a link that should help
