just bought a new puppy 8 weeks old
hi there,
we have just bought a new staffy pup he is lovely a little giddy but i used to have a labrador who was very giddy and quite boystrous i dont want him to be the same what can we do. thanks for your help

Hi and welcome from Ty and me. I think Staff puppies are perhaps the giddiest of all and teaching the basics from the begining, being patient and consistent is the key to survival.

hi and welcome.. yes staffys need lots of exercise..lots of discipline and lots of love..but you will have the best pal you could ever desire in the long run..

I'm afraid staffs can be rather giddy a pups. Be firm but fair with your training and he'll come good. If there is anything specific you want to ask, just start up a thread of your own & we'll try to help!

Your staff at 8wks will be hypo and especially getting used to your home...it's at this early stage obedience needs to be taught and hopefully for you, your staff will carm down.
