hello all

I'm finding extremely difficult to teach cola anything at the moment. she is 14 weeks tomorrow and a little terror. Thought I had taught her sit but even when i got treats in my hand and tell her sit she just looks at me as if im stupid. When she does eventually sit I try for the lye down command but moving the treat down past her nose to the ground and she just paws at my hand arghhhhhh......

Im sure one day it may just click hoping, praying lol

Keep going with it, she'll catch on. Just make sure your training sessions are short and she only gets the treat when she has done the required task.

One small step at a time.....they all learn at different rates

Good luck Big Grin

Yep as above, consistancy and patience. Sometimes you feel as you are going back wards but I promise one day it will click if you keep the training up Xx

Don't worry, she's still such a young pup. You'll get times where it'll seem like she's not learning, or that she's forgotten what you taught her 2 seconds ago! But it'll come good as long as you stay patient & keep the training to a couple of 5 or 10 minute sessions a day!

Agree and keep the sessions short. You could also try to train after going for a walk or before mealtime. She may be more focused then
