Hello my name is william, I picked up a blue staffordshire bull terrier on saterday. his name is whipple, I will post a pic later...he is 7 weeks old and has a vet appt. tomorrow...just going for checkup and puppy shots...so far so good with him he is useing puppy training pads and have only had him for 3 days...hope i can get him use to the leash tough he tries to get off of it when he is put on it...

well enough of me ramabling...i hope to lern alot form fellow forum members Big Grin

Hiya & welcome to the forum.

Don't worry too much about the lead just now, it'll be a couple of weeks before you can take him out yet anyway. Just let him drag it around (just don't let him start chewing it). Later on you can pick it up & let him lead you around, then start to gently tug him in the direction you want. It can take a bit of time, but they all get used to it, especially when they start going outside!
