Scared??

Is anyone else's staffy funny when it comes to going out in th rain/cold/dark/wind??

Lola is reluctant to go for a walk when its raining/windy/cold/dark. I have to drag her most of the way!!
She has a waterproof jacket which keeps her warm.
When she steps in a puddle she looks at me as if to say
"mum EEEEWWWW!!"

Anyone else have similar problems??

Aww, Moo hates the rain, I have to literally drag her out for a toilet and then she legs it back!

Monty doesn't like the rain ... he piddles in the house quite often when it's raining outside, even if he has been put out the garden to toilet !

Yeah if she's let out in the garden she is very reluctant to go for a walk!!

Rocky hates the rain, will not even step in a puddle.

lemmy doesnt do rain or wet. he didnt do cold till we got him his coat now he doesnt mind going out but god forbid it starts to rain he is straight home as fast as he can so he doesnt get wet. i had to physicaly pick him up and carry him down the drive one day he was almost crossed legged in the house he had to go.

Boycie hates going out if there is frost on the ground he jumps up and down with all paws off the ground at once.I must take a video of it and share it with you all it is so funny.

Alfie hates the rain and refuses to go for a walk if its raining, he will go out in the garden for a wee when he gets desperate but the face he pulls is hilarous! He won't swim either but he will go in the sea or local pond up to his chest but no further. He does however love the snow and will if allowed play for ages in it, i think his little paws must be freezing and don't let him out for too long. Not that it snows that much!

None of my dogs have ever been worried about the weather until I got Bandit. He wouldn't put a foot outside if it was raining and windy. Rain on its own was ok, and so was wind, but not together! Dempsey's ok in the rain once he's out, but getting him out is a different matter!

My Lola is the same hates the rain & she doesnt like the dark to much!

My old girl goes by the weather and her mood but at 12 if she wants to stay indoors near the fireside its okay with me , when I get the leads out she will come to me if she wants to come and turn her back on me and hide if she wants to stay home

Nope, no real fear at all.
Unsettled by thunder, but as long as someone is in the room with him, in contact, light or otherwise, there is no problem. Kellev is even less bothered.
His only real fear is being dominated by other dogs, so I'm working on this.
Anything else, no fear at all. Rain, wind, loud noises, big trucks anything...nothing.

Suki doesn't like the rain or cold. She'll ask to go our for like 3 seconds and then straight to the wee pad

Both mine hate the rain,and are a bit funny if we have really strong winds.

Tyler hates getting his feet wet and detests going on wet grass and walks like he has a thousand drawing pins stuck in his feet LOL

I have to go out with them both in the rain as they get half way down the garden and turn around and make a dash for the door lol
