So this guy represented himself in court, not very well, and still got off ????????????? One could ask HOW. It just beggars belief. I wish we had a judicial system in this country. He would get a serious amount of his own medicine.

the laws over here aren't any better..some shocking cases of animal cruelty around and the scum walk free..does my head in!

I just hope that anyone who is cruel to animals get their just desserts!

There's too many people that love dogs not for him to get his come uppance 1 day , at least I bloody hope so. It's disgusting and makes my blood boil, I'd gladly do a little fine or some community service to have the pleasure of repeatedly punching this idiot in the face and see how he feels about it. Chances are I'd get 6 months hard time for it !! (and have to pay him an arm and a leg in compensation !!)

so why have they still got the dog and it is not in some nice sfe home by now surely the courts and the RSPCA must realise that if they are still in a relationship then he still has access to the dog. what is to stop him doing it again. i hope someone is helpuing that poor dog get over what must have been a frightening experience for it at the hands of that (cannot print the word)

makes me sooo mad, course the puppy messed on him it was out of fear, why did they give the puppy back at the pub..offer him a tenner i would of offered him a swift kick in the ahem... these people need to be seriously punished to make others aware. i am now thinking words about that man that are not fit to read....another puppy brought for the wrong reasons..

well done to the lady who stopped and stood up to him, so many stories of people witnessing and doing nothing about it so good on her.

and on a lighter note, good to see the media have some stock photos of staffy's looking the way they usually do, cute and smiling and not barking viciously.

I would call him a scum low life.. but I know what sort of people they are. I dont know how to catagorize someone who can punch any animal let alone a 12 wk old puppy, my "dregs of the human race O'Meter" doesnt register that low.
