unsettled pup
Hi, Vinnie has been so restless all night, he had a bone earlier and think he swallowed the bit of knuckle off the end. He doesnt seem to have been to toilet since this morning and I am a bit worried. He keeps asking to go out but only to wee he had the bone this morning any advice?

Re: unsettled pup
I'm very much used to the opposite! The bone could have blocked him up, is he eating and drinking ok?

Re: unsettled pup
If he's eating/drinking, then I wouldn't worry. A dog's stomach acid is so strong that it can disolve most bones without a problem. He might be a bit constipated if he's had too much bone, though.
If he starts to refuse his food, or starts throwing up you should take him to the vets.

Agree as long as he is eating and drinking he should be fine. If he stops than you should go to the vet.

Thanks Caryll Vinnie is fine today took him for a walk late last night to perhaps get his bowells moving !! anyway "The Eagle Has Landed" so to speak. I did wonder if it was the weather as it was very windy and blizzardy last night here.No problems with toilet this morning and he is back to his normal self. >
