Tired mum!
It's currently 3.37am here, and nearly an hour ago I was awoken by the most awful smell... Vlad had dioreah! Groaning, I just bagged up his bed and threw it in the bin outside then set to work cleaning the floor! Meanwhile, Vlad has been taken outside (I had to carry him so he didn't walk in his mess, and he is getting heavy!) and I had to keep the outside light on for him as he isn't fond of the dark, and he is just staring at me through the window looking at me and giving little wimpers, but it's the only place I had to keep him while I cleaned up.... Even the bottom of his play pen bars needed cleaning. I have used the wee away spray I haven't had to use in WEEKS as he doesn't do anything inside now (Lucky I had some!) then used a roll and a half of toilet paper because it was litterally all over the floor. I have then mopped the floor twice then got the antibacterial air freshner and sprayed the entire house! I luckly had a spare single bed doona (duvet) that I have kind of made a bed for him with. Where is my husband you say... he's working night shifts! The worst thing is I have to be up in 2.5 hours for work and then after work, my sister who boards with us during the week as she attends he grammar school here, has her speech night which I have to go to straight after work! AND... I can still smell poo!!!! I have literally been on my hands and knees cleaning the floor by hand before mopping it!!!!!! Every light inside and outside my house has been on in the last nearly hour in my cleaning frenzy, so I can only hope I haven't woke everyone in my street up! And before I sound like I'm not worried about the little Vlad, he seems fine now... he's curled up on his makeshift bed sound asleep! Sorry about the longness of this post... I'm one very tired puppy mum at the moment!

Re: Tired mum!
Massive hugs to you, and I can certainly relate to it. Moo went through a phase just after I rescued her of having diareah nearly everynight for weeks, I think I made myself ill with the lack of sleep. Any chance you could pull a sicky later? I know how draining it can be. If not take it easy, have a cry and try to sleep for at least another hour. Hope Vlad is ok XxXxx

Oh NO.....you poor thing. There's nothing worse than dealing with a situation like that, and the smell seems to linger.
Hope your day turns out ok and does'nt leave you too tired.

Re: Tired mum!
Thank you everyone! I was having an exhausted vent. Honestly, I have never smelt anything so bad in my life! It woke me up! I was just having a pity party for myself! I couldn't call in sick And to top it off I had to rush from work with Anna (my sister) to her speech night which was 4 hours of my life I will never get back! He seems to be fine. He went to puppy school tonight with no problems. He seems to love his doona (duvet) bed! We've just fed him dry food today... nothing to risk upsetting his belly. It's 10.34pm and I've had no dinner yet because of said speech night, so husband as gone to get me something I just need a BIG HUGE sleep! So I hope Vlad is his usual lazy self, and has a lie in tomorrow and doesn't get a runny bum! I am looking forward as I have tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday off

Re: Tired mum!
Hope you manage to get some quality sleep and Vlad cooperates. Any ideas what brought it on in the first place?
Maybe leave the windows open to get some fresh air going through will rid you of the smell (hopefully).
Big hugs your way and a cuddle for Vlad ><

Re: Tired mum!
Thank you! Apparently I was nuts when I said I could smell poo after I had cleaned... my husband came in saying the house smelt nice LOL! I think the putrid smell had burnt into my nostrils! I scrubbed and cleaned and scrubbed and cleaned and then used the anti-bac airfeshener, so maybe I was just nuts with the awful smell and the tired! I am sure I'll sleep well! Vlad is snoring!!! LOL

Glad he is feeling better.....hope you are able to catch up on your sleep at some stage!
I remember when Jethro ate our lamb's poo that was being bottle fed and he had the most horrific runs..so I can relate to what you went through. Not nice!
