My 3yr old male goes mad after going for a poo

Hello,

Can anybody help I am new to this site and have 2 staffy's the same age one male one female and the male everytime without fail that he has a poo he runs back into the house runs/jump's about rearranging the furniture and I have no idea why.

It's not that it annoys me as it only lasts a few mins i'm just worrying that he may have something wrong.

Any ideas?

Thats a strange one, it doesn't sound like anythings too wrong, mine has a funny 5 minutes sometimes too! Just wondering whether there's anything bothering him ie maybe irratating and thats why he's doing it. Has he been doing it for a while cause it could just be habit?

My dog has a funny 5 mins as well he finds something to poo on ie a rock something prominent angles himself and hits the spot then spins around quite chuffed sometimes scratching his back legs into the ground I thought it was a dominence thing as the anal glands open when they are passing poo and the legg scratching is scenting the area. Oh the doggy language

i reckon kerrie your dog is just happy after having dumped his load thats all

Lol kaiser does this too he always has to go on top of something i.e rock flowers on a step me and my fella laugh it has to be on something

I left my dogs home when I went on holiday last year and right at the bottom of the garden there are square stepping stones my son was looking after them. I couldnt beleive it the dog had left it looking like dominoes there was 4 on one flag 3 on another 2 and 1 my dog nos how to position his poo it was very arty I wished I would of photographed it hes is very talented when it comes to poo

They are aint they the other day at my fellas in his back yard on the step he had done it and it just got stuck on the side looking like something rather rude its so funny

We will have to compare them and open a competition when I work out how to post photoes im a its got to be a stafford thing, he has a favourite rock its so funny my hubby keeps moving it and you can tell hes dying to go but hes running round trying to find it to poo on =D>

Yes we will defo if were out on a walk and he cant find anything to go on he will run round like mad till he does find something there funny bless them. sometimes i think its going to end up a right mess cos he pushes his bum right against it but he always manages to get it just right
