Re: Boomer Balls
Wouldn't be without one! Brilliant!
As long as you get the right size they'll last for ages & Dempsey for one really loves chasing it at full speed around the park - he'll even ignore other dogs!

Re: Boomer Balls
iv got mine on the list to order for memphis i was thinking the 8in does anyone know if this is big anough as i want it to last untill he bigger
Guest- Guest
Re: Boomer Balls
I've got a 10" for Dempsey. I know he's bigger than a stafford, but a stafford's mouth is wider, so you might want a 10" too!

If he can take chunks off it, it isn't big enough! It should be big enough so that he can't get a grip with his jaws at all.

Re: Boomer Balls
I would say for a staffie 10" minimum. It's a bit more expensive, but they really love them.
Apparently they're made from the same material as bowling balls & provided the dog can't get a grip on it, it's very strong.

Re: Boomer Balls
I have one for but Taz obsesses over it to the point he is whining and faoming at the mouth so his play is limited.

Molly does that too! She gets really excited over it. I'm glad it's not just her who gets like it.
On a side note, for those in the UK looking for a boomer ball, I found that Chemist Direct sell them for around £15, which is cheaper than most places (£20) I've ordered from them before, and their postage is good and usually pretty fast!

Re: Boomer Balls
I've never had a boomer ball before, are they about the same stamp as a kong? (different shape obviously) i.e something to play with that is not easily destroyed. I don't think I've actually seen one before, I'll have to look for them in Pet's Warehouse.

They remind me of a bowling ball!! Very big and a hard plastic that your dog can't get there jaws around, so have to use there heads/paws to push it around. I doubt a pet shop will sell them, try ebay thats where I got mine. Moo never took to hers but I will try again another time.

Yes, check ebay, but make sure it's a proper boomer ball as there are some cheap imitations that aren't as good.
